Kate Middleton stunned in the label’s sequin-embellished Aurora dress to co-host the UK-Africa Investment Summit reception at Buckingham Palace back in January 2020.

As is typical of the Duchess’ dazzling ensembles, the gown sold out quickly, but it is now back in time for the festive season – along with a matching dress for girls aged between three and ten.

The Aurora kids dress is available in the same red embellished fabric as Kate’s gown, along with six other colours including blue, green and pink. At £275 it doesn’t come cheap, but it would make the ideal special occasion outfit for your little one this Christmas and would be perfect for a winter wedding.

Needle & Thread is far from the only brand to offer co-ordinating styles for mums and their mini-mes; the Marks & Spencer x Ghost collaboration features a range of pretty dresses in women’s and girls sizes, while H&M’s AW21 offering includes matching shearling fleece jackets for all the family. Too cute!
